ok im blogging cuz im high n im bored. gotta let out some energy.
haha i keep thinking of today's rehearsals. i thot it was pretty gd for the tiny turnout we had. i felt the music today. its so nice. i mean yea its the same piece tt we've played over n over again. but those times the piece has juz been notes to me, n today it was music. i rly like mr tan's conducting haha. i think hes rly gd.
ok with that said, it was an extremely tiring rehearsal. the energy level was quite low n it was a LONG rehearsal smack in the middle of my saturday!! bah. plus the weather was juz too hot for my liking.
o i let out my mean bean today. haha. cuz we got this video frm the video store. "open waters". so we watched it while having dinner, n it SUCKED so bad. it was like blair witch project. 5 min into the movie i was getting frustrated, and then came the last straw: pornography. i mean yea it was NC-16, but the movie was sposed to b about shark attacks, not the human body. my mom freaked, n we decided to get a refund frm the store. so thats where i let out my mean bean. i debated wit the manager for like 15 minutes. i was rly rebutting everything she said until she was speechless n exchanged the video for me. :) i have to admit, i had a lotta fun. i NEVER do this sorta stuff n it was satisfactory when i got my video exchanged. ok all in the name of cheap thrill.

workouts can b self-gratifying. esp if u do them wit a specific purpose in mind. :) think the dance classes in ny were beneficial afterall. i hated them when i was taking them tho.
somehow i always have to remind myself its friday. how i long for those days when fridays seem to b the best day of the week. cuz tt means i'll have 2 days of rest and break. where have the weekends gone to?
sch was especially bad for me today. somehow all the teachers worked themselves into a bad mood today so i kinda got into trouble wit alotta them. seems like its nv enough watever u do. its never enough.
life was brought back after sch when our class stayed back to do the overdued GP hw which we got yelled at for. ipods zenmicros and discmans were whipped out, and we started listening to chinese songs which sounded gd but we had no shit about wad was being sung. but it was GOOD! lol music always helps to lift my spirits. im so gonna b a music therapist. im living proof that it works.
lunch/dinner at westmall after tt wit kb n rita. it was pretty funny pulled me back frm the dead. then we cabbed to hashim ali's place for econs tuition. there were these 2 other guys wit us today. bryan frm RJC and derrick frm HCJC. lol hashim's pretty biased towards us cuz we're frm ACJC. we did alotta stuff tt would help our coming test but had not much to do wit the other guys :P haha i guess its gd for us. cabbed back frm hashim's house after tt. n i realized i havent gone out for some time! ive been so busy wit all my commitments its been long since ive gone out wit my friends :( need to catch up wit them

ok im feeling rly chirpy today. my mood swing's finally caught some wings. not bad. i even stayed back for sectionals even tho i was excused. haha tt must have been something.
sectionals was pretty funny today haha. ok maybe i was the only one who thought it was funny. cuz mr tan was making a few of us play this melody over n over again cuz he thot we werent using enough strength or watever n it was too soft. he said we were playing like "victorian ladies". which i thot was hilarious cuz of the irony. ok nvm.
ahh the sch hours seem to be never ending. time passes so slow when we're having classes. n today i heard the most awful story ever. it was FOUL. it was more hideous revolting repugnant whatever beyond words. n to my utter horror i couldnt help VISUALIZING it throughout classes. im left but mentally and visually scarred. pls no more.

im full of admiration for the movers who juz brought our fridge into our house. they were self-employed movers so their "workers" were their family members. this boy who was barely 13 or 14 was carrying the huge fridge wit his dad. at this time. juz to earn a couple of tens. my heart goes out to them
was re-reading my gp package.. when i found this statement which i missed out b4. "Chia tells of how a controversial play she directed, Shopping and F***ing, rife with sex and violence, got past the censors". The irony of the statement rly got me laughing.

my health is like glass. breaks easily. sucks. had headache attacks this morning again. missed the gp test. thank God theres a replacement test tmr. o i met brian ong at the gate when i reached sch too. lol he had an MC for home. n he gave it to me so i could get past the security guard cuz i didnt have time to see a doctor. so sweet.too bad the guard didnt believe me.
ytd was pretty interesting. kickstarted wit some drama as there was a fire in my condo. shaun's block. directly across mine. the smoke oozed into my house as i was having breakfast n it was horribly pungent. so after breakfast we got downstairs into the car n was about to drive off, when we saw two speeding civil defense bikes in front of us. they stopped our car, n were like ORDERING us for the directions to the burning block. apparently they could not follow directions cuz they went in the total opposite directions tt we told them. n trailing behind them were humongous firetrucks, ambulences and a truckload of firemen. all going in the wrong direction.
anyways~ turns out tt a maid was frying chicken or something when the fire grew and started smoking the entire unit. thus the commotion. haha. dont think anyone got seriously injured so praise God for that.
so anyways~ school was horrible. i was pushing myself to stay awake n alive for almost all the lessons. had strings after tt. we went out for dinner at dover market, n i had a nice talk wit the J1s. :) i was doing the talking most of the time tho. then samuel n i went back to sch first, sposedly to read the GP package, but we ended up playing the piano :P hes a rly gd improvizer lol we were doing a duet of "when u say nothing at all". so then it was prac. which was ok i guess. the cellos sounded rly gd i have to say. n the 1st violins sounded quite bad. dont kno bout us haha. but i was SO tired throughout the entire prac i was rly struggling to stay alive. it was a rly long rehearsal. till 9pm!! o kenneth n i were rly bored we were playing games on the score. like tictactoe n scissorspaperstone. which was totally dumb but it helped pass time.
went home n rushed my work till like 12am. ugh n thus my headache today. got an MC n lots more pills. im rly sick of medicine.

ytd was rly fun. ok i had church first and when we got to church, we found a drumset sitting on the stage. *grins* apparently some guy called leon or something donated his drumset n he played the drums for us during worship. not bad at all.
so after service i went to kb's place for the SJI. it was cr8zy. we got there early to prepare all sorts of stuff tt we were gonna pour on the juniors. something like tt brown goey stuff that john was cooking. it was a mixture of everything like oatmeal, dark sauce, vanilla essence.. looks pretty GROSS.

so then we split the J1s into 3 teams n we played station games at the road in front of kb's house haha. all the girls were blindfolded and the guys led them around the stations n played all the dirty games. we threw flour n wat-have-u on them it was totally chaotic. benjamin's team won the game by completing the stations quickest and he was exempted from having to put on makeup and dress up. :)

omg its amazing how much kids can consume nowadays. my 9yearold cousin marc can eat more than me! almost 3 times as much. should have taken a picture of how much he ate. GOSH. welcome the age of obesity.
anyways~
this has been a pretty gd long weekend. on fri we were sposed to go to sentosa for some ogl outing. n at like 10+ cherie n i were still debating whether to go haha when we're sposed to be there at 9am. whoo. we didnt go in the end. it was way too hot n i was rly lazy. :P i couldnt swim anyways.
so i baby-sat the kids in the morn. and i practiced my violin! woohoo. i brought my violin home for the 2nd time in 2 years :P to practice haha. no explanation to the newfound enthusiasm.
my mom gave me a ride to joshua's place. but not without getting lost a couple of times. we're both rly bad wit maps n direction it sux. the party was pretty fun tho i didnt kno alotta pple at first. it was juz cindy, hanyang, alex n i wit the other dudes at first. then matt wayne n mel came n we played alotta stupid games which were rly fun. like TABOO! i love tt game. the squeaker is hilarious sounding. haha. i wanna play again!! o then we watched american idol simon is SO mean n blunt like hello is the sarcasm necessary? but at least he's honest i guess.
today had a long chat wit ___. then went for OG outing. at bedok!!! took me an hour to get there i was reading empires of the sun on the mrt. gd book. rly gd. anyways~ so we cabbed to jialing's house frm the mrt n hung there. her house's so pretty! n her brother's pretty hott haha. ok nvm it was quite fun we played more stupid games like asshole daiti haha i was the king for all the games we played there!! ;) n i realized tt nicholas has a funny laugh haha. tt makes me wanna laugh. o they gave us OG tshirts too! its rly nice haha it has our OG name at the front n all our names plus one-liners about us at the back :)
ahh nadim's such a mugger he was worried bout his GP package while he was there! n he went home to study. think i shall start reading my GP too. o we have SJI tmr at kb's house yay. hope its gonna b fun. maybe i'll bring drinks.

my aunt's got dengue fever. pls pray for her. apparently its quite serious. cuz my hyperactive cousins marc & megan are coming over for an extended sleepover. pls pray for ME. maybe its a gd opportunity for me to work my motherly instincts :) so if my kids turn out like tt (which they wont), i'll know how to handle them
