i know my purpose of going to church. i savour the time that a fair congregation has devoted to praising and worshipping God. the sermon today got me reflecting over my true reasons for going to church. n i found it.

Psalm 95 says

Oh come, let us sing to the Lord!
Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation.
Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving;
Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.
For the Lord is the great God,
and the great King above all gods

tis true. ive found so much peace and serenity as i prayed in God's sanctuary. my sanctuary. i was pretty consumed with certain thoughts and worries in the previous week, and as i put them into God's hands, i knew everything was going to be alright. communion dinner was special too. the newly-installed pastor Tan gave out communion dinner today, and as he did so, he repeated to each n everyone of us that this represented the body and blood of Jesus Christ who died for us on the cross. and the message, albeit old, rly hit home.

"So i lift my eyes to You Lord
In Your strength will i break through Lord.
Touch me now, let Your love fall down on me,
I know Your love dispels all my fears"

today officially marks the last day of hols : ( but i have to admit, having chapel to start the week off rly rubs off some of the monday blues. hopefully the NLs will be ready for inhabitance tmr! : )

i watched initial d wit josh kb n rits ytd. cant say im much of a sucker for cars or racing. lol but joshua emerged wit pretty gd comments for the movie, while rits enjoyed it cuz of edison. there's sorta like a girl-guy divide for the movie. every guy i kno who've watched the show thought it awesome, while the girls thot otherwise (except celine =p)

made joshua walk a lot after the show haha :p in the hot sun. come to think of it, it was pretty funny. we didnt get anything done except buy pen refills. then charles came over n we watched hitch. my 2nd time watching it haha. but it's a gd show.

woa long entry. but who cares. im gonna spend my last day of hols in luxury. who knows when im gonna have the luxury of time when sch starts. B.O.O
