the weekends have come and gone, and im so not ready to go back to school yet
good things never last, but i nv imagined this weekend to pass by THAT quickly
theres this dread of stepping over the Sunday-monday boundary for the work it entails
something that i might not be able to deal with in my current flu-symptomatic state
anyhow. we brought my doggies to sentosa beach on saturday to expand their horizons beyond cookie jars and pip-squeak toys
the first thing ginger did when we arrived was to dig a huge hole in the sand
before running around like a mad dog chasing after insects, scaling rocks, digging more holes, and.. swimming, albeit involuntarily.

bubble covered in the sand that ginger threw up while digging..

in an attempt to help my dogs conquer their fear of water (they're both water dogs anyway), we decided to give them a helping hand and plucked them off the shore, and plonked them in the sea for them to swim
as nature would have it, both dogs were pretty gd swimmers!
but they had a quirk of paddling their paws in mid air way before they're even dropped into the water. like those turtles paddling furiously to escape without knowing they're being held up by their shell..
so after laughing at ginger for the 60billionth time, we decided to take a video of her as evidence of her quirky turtle-behavior.. (:
