i love festive seasons. more smiles are shared, reunions made, bonds reunited. if only every day could b lived in festivity.
celebrations in AC were more like racial harmony day celebrations. we missed most of the performanes due to chamber performance being the starting item. actually it was cuz we were dilly-dallying around after adjourning to the music center.
cherie n i zoomed right back to shopping world after sch. :) forever 21 got more cash outta me. thank God for CNY.. it'll balance my bank account out.
reunion dinner at my aunt's wasnt too bad i guess. except for the fact tt all of em were convinced tt im attached somehow or another n wouldnt believe any of my single claims. n we had a dissected reunion dinner, cuz my grandfather n grandmother refused to b under the same roof. so we had two separate reunion dinners. they're so childish.
on CNY day..:
dressing up for church has nv been more fun wit the bountiful new clothes decked in my wardrobe :) we had a CNY church service, which resulted in a photo taking session of 3 of our families after it. it's pretty interesting how its become a tradition for our 3 families (ernest's, abel's and mine) to take a family picture each at the same spot of the church, followed by a group shot of all 3 families. we've been doing tt since i was like a kid or something.
first stop was swenson's for lunch :) we drove to holland v wit ALL my paternal relatives for CNY lunch. omg we ate till we were SO full. the food was awesome there was a special CNY menu for tt day. i was so full i couldnt eat dinner tt night.
nxt stop was jason's house at holland v. lol. and after that the entire group drove to my place as the 3rd stopover. all the guys decided to play a lan game of age of empires after tt. n i mean ALL the guys, including my uncles n my dad. laptops were whipped out n a 4 hour game commenced. all thnx to wireless lan.
4th stop: grandmother's place! :) the food haven. as with every other year, we had steamboat. gd food there. i love my grandmother. n she had two mahjong tables omg so jason javan my aunt n i were playing till rly late. wooo its fun stuff but im still rly lost when i play it.
n wit all of that said n food being eaten, i am gonna start losing some weight now.
