a joyful heart is good medicine

my first saturday night home in a very long while (:
a night in, with just my mom and i. like wayne said, feels gd to have nothing on the agenda

i received a letter from joshua ytd ((: all the way from melbourne!

actually its all in the name of fun. writing to letters to each other while he is at sea
a simple sort of cheap thrill. feels cool to be writing to a soldier out at sea
kinda like bringing my war lit text to life hahaha =p (touch wood)

anyway. i've done quite an array of things over the past week.
ranging from arts bash and pageant @ MOS (which was a series of unfortunate events)

to sleepover with the gurls and bitching session during supper about a particular bouncer and a particular club =p
to shopping early in the morning (ok actually it was in the aftn) when we woke up
to rehearsing with the quartet for a whole 3 hours @ zhic's for a wedding at BRMC
to actually performing for the wedding today ((:
i absolutely loved the wedding service. kinda like how i imagined a perfect wedding to be hehe
a tiny cozy church setting, that has a mini altar laden with fresh flowers for first prayers as a married couple, and a string quartet (however lousy) performing live, and the lighting of unity candles ((:
not to mention the golden couple who looked BEA-utiful together hahaha. tho i dont even know them

a little breathless after all of that.
today was a very welcomed breather to counter the exhaustion (:
tutorials starting next week SIGH. now we actually gotta start studying >.< wake up call!
no more MSN-ing during lectures, or laughing at how "brain" is pronounced as "brand"
no more taking stupid pictures @ the back of lecture theaters, or watching other people dota in front

oh. and to end off the post. a few funny conversations i have been in:
1) Setting - The back of lecture theater, in introduction to computing IT1001
Huishi: (exclaiming loudly) ohmygod, i hate computers!
(everyone turns and stares at us)

2) Setting - Walking up the ramp from the carpark of KAP
Me: Hey mom the MacDonald's milk shakes are back!
Mom: Huh? Havent they been always there?
Me: -.-
