ich habe keine zeit für ein lange.. uhh, post.
so i'll just upload pictures once again to keep everyone updated! (:
ok firstly, on friday we went for the eurocityfest (:
its a largest party of munster that is held annually in the city
something like a huge carnival that involves everybody, with free beer, lots of food, games, and bands
we didnt take much pictures, honestly, cuz it was kinda boring for us
all the bands sang in german, and the food.. well, lets just say, they're german food and i've had german food for the past week. im really missing chinese food now
then over the weekend, we took a train to köln and bonn for an excursion (:
took lots and lots of pics, so here're some of them.
natalie, janice and i at the bahnhof (station) waiting for our train
the famous dom at köln
we climbed all the way to the top - 509 steps altogehter
something like climbing the statue of liberty, and part of the eiffel tower lol
but the view up at the top was fantastic (:
we also visited the schokolade museum, where they showed us the entire process of manufacturing chocolates, and how they package them into different shapes and sizes
they had sooo much chocolate in there in different stages, including this:
NUTELLLAAAAAAA.... (:
and, in case you were wondering, i bought back quite some marzipan chocs (:
together with chooclate-liquor and marzipan-liquor. HEE :D
we stayed at a youth hostel for the night. and it was surprisingly clean and neat
it was 4 people to a room, with our own attached bathroom and toilet.
that night we had an "uno-party" in the guys' room cuz we were too tired to explore the other parts of the city >.<
anyway, on sunday we took a train down to bonn, and took a city tram to the city center
and had lunch at dunkin donuts!!! ((: ((: ((:
look at our happy faces (:
it was sooooooooooo good :D
we also went to the beethovenhaus!! the house where beethoven was born in and lived in
its like one of those places you have to go to as a musician
so you can die happy as a musician knowing you've touched beethoven's piano,
or seen the actual viola he played, or seen his written scores, or his life&death masks
reallyy intriguing (:
ok its late here now. been having lessons everyday.
i dont even study that hard in nus! :(
sad to say, my german is still.. below average. garhhh.
slow and steady....
