in a nutshell

im a "bally in the making"sighh. means im growing fatt haha.

tis true. with the amount of good food and barbeque-food im wolfing down.. i'll really become a ball soon.

the past week has been one thats been really awesome. especially in the gourmet aspect :p

i just had crystal jade ytd with the 87ers before going to settlers cafe for crazy games (: and had loads of xlbs (celine im using your word)

the games there were hilarious - seriously i laughed till i couldnt really talk properly that night lol

met up with seok and cherie today for gelare waffles! (:
havent seen them for soooo long.
unfortchantely all of us were super tired for one reason or another haha, esp muay thai girl
but it was a very nice time catching up.

i've been helping out with the german society booth @ matric fair as well with janice (:

its a pretty monotonous and mundane task to force flyers into the faces of freshmen, but i met soo many friends new and old alike there that it was more like a social activity than the actual thing itself (:

i signed up for quite a number of activities and joined quite a number of societies - no thanks to the active toutings

but they're something to look forward to (: im going to learn archery with nat, huikai and janice (:

how cool is that.

on sunday we had our games + bbq at lide's house with the 1520 youthgrp (: and it was a BLAST!

we even had a personal chef isaac to cook the food for us. it was probably the BEST bbq i've ever been to (:

okay we did have to play silly station games, like lifting team mates up to munch on dangling apples

but to give it due credit... it was quite fun lahhhh :p

saturday i met up with mac to watch "knocked up", which is a rather plain-jane show that focused more on glorifying childbirth than on the comic effect and the ever-common trend of premarital pregnancy

but for all its worth, seth rogen was funny for some parts, and paul rudd looked pretty hot :P

anyway, i met up with my ACclassmates after the movie @ timbre (:

everyone's "samesame, but different" somehow, but it felt really nice to see everybody!

the band was good too, albeit too loud for catching up and talking

[im getting tired]

friday - i went over to mac's to see the final product of extreme makeover (home edition)

and it was pretty pretty! i give it an 8/10 (:

thursday - we had rajoo chalet + bbq (: ok i went late for it again.. HEE

but i had a really great time at the bbq. good food, good company, AND good music!

for details read sharon&elaine's blog, but the highlights were when shamir serenaded us with his guitar and singing

(which were reallyyy good i have to say)

he attempted to teach elaine and i some basics. but, i guess we have a long way to go :p

it was also pretty funny when we attempted to waddle in the pool @ midnight but ended up getting chased away by the guard

or when we blew plastic balloons and smashed it into other people's faces

or hear people talk in familiar yet unfamiliar msn language like "ttyl" - "tetylll"

im glad i went for it haha i almost didnt go!

anyway, thats all from me. its quite a long post for once!
